Laboratory Testing
Our laboratory tests soils and construction materials to determine physical characteristics and indices, classification, engineering properties, and conformance to specifications and standards. We follow published test methods and procedures, such as ASTM International and California Test Methods, use equipment that is calibrated with traceability to the National Institute of Standards and Technology, and employ testing technicians who have decades of experience and who are knowledgeable and certified. Our laboratory is approved by the California Division of the State Architect, and performs tests accreddited by AASHTO Materials Refence Laboratory and Cement and Concrete Reference Laboratory, and is validated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Note: The accreditation is granted by the AASHTO Accreditation Program (AAP) and is limited to our office in El Dorado Hills, California and the standards for which it is accredited.).
